Downtown Vancouver has everything a tourist could want and enough to keep you busy for a few days running. To the North of the Downtown Peninsula, across the Burrard Inlet soar the beautiful and rugged Coast Mountains which are visible from almost anywhere in the city and the main reason city developers have chosen to keep the skyline low compared to other cities. The mountain and waterfront views take precedence over glass and steel here.
